Ryan Blake Returns: Daylight Studio, Strategy Burnout, and Game of Toes

With

Ryan Blake

Ryan Blake and I riff from a joke foot-themed OnlyFans idea into a real rant about $20,000 strategy decks nobody executes, AI hype, and why conversational podcasting beats performing for the algorithm.

Right? Aren't they local? or at least Oregon, maybe. I don't know. It feels like they're all over the place here. I think they're they're somewhere around here. Yeah.

Clackamas. Clackamas. There you go, sir. Like we did we did one of their like active gummies or whatever and floated the river. And I was like, dude, this is perfect. Like it's not like I want to go to sleep. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But like you get a buzz out of it, and I'm also like yeah paddling. So you're like, yeah. Yeah. I'm like. So let's get high. Let's get high. Cheers, brother. Cheers, amigo.

Thanks for coming in and doing this. This is like the first it's not the first in person that I've done, but it's like well, it's the first with the windows open. Yeah. I I've I had the window shut before 'cause I was like, yeah, it's gonna be, you know, like mysterious mysterious, dark, yeah, ominous podcast set setting. Well, I mean, they are nice. Got a very McMinneman's look to it.

It was a whole thing. I was going for a color scheme, and then all of a sudden I realized it's kind of stupid. Well, to be fair, to be fair, somebody else had suggested why would you block out the windows and stop that natural light coming in? And I was like, Well, I don't know how to light anything. Mm-hmm. But that same person told me to get these fucking lights. And now

I think they actually work pretty okay in a daylight setting. Yeah. And it's they're not like intrusive too, you know. There's like some lights that blast you in the face. They're nice. Yeah. anyways, it's just a long way of saying this is the first in person podcast in this new studio that I have. Cherry popping goodness. I know, it's so fucking good, isn't it? It is. man.

Kevin Mooney (02:06.06)
So we were just talking about well, we were talking about OnlyFans, essentially. Feet picks and stuff like that. Only feats, maybe. Only feats, yeah. Yeah. I I don't know, I get all this stuff in my feed and it's like OnlyFan models. Like, yes, I have one. It's it's more like I'm not watching the content. I'm not on OnlyFans, but they'll be like

You want to see how much money we made on OnlyFans? And then they scroll through their thing. And it starts out like month one, forty-eight thousand dollars. You're like, get the fuck out of here. And it just goes all the way up, up, up, up, up. And after like a year and a half, they're at like a million dollars a month. And I'm sitting here trying to do fucking creative work, trying to get people to understand why.

A social series would be smart for them when I could just be showing my dick or my feet on OnlyFans and making creepy, like overweight dudes in the Midwest. Dude, I'm thinking I need to start in OnlyFans. Yeah. I was literally just thinking about the feet thing the other day. But I was also like

What if you just walked around like the river float area and you weren't taking pictures of your own feet? You were just like sneakily like snapping exotic river float feet pictures. That's just your whole shtick on on OnlyFans is exotic river feet. Yeah. And you don't even have to be the model for this. No. Which is really fucking good. Yeah. Cause it's like, hey. I mean I mean, you can have all sorts of diverse kinds of feet.

That's a that's kind of a kicker for it. You mean like size or color? All of that. Like maybe like pedicure or like gross toenails. You know how many fucking gross toenails there are here? yeah. Because everybody walks around, you know, in like barefoot or nastiness. Tacos that just have like this built up grunge from Green Lakes Trail. that's so fucking gross. huh. But somebody you know somebody's into it.

Kevin Mooney (04:24.6)
There's some there's some some dude out there in Ohio that's like my feet have never been outside of a sock. that and this is like Pacific Northwest feet. That's disgusting. That's the worst thing I've ever heard in my entire life. So then you become then you become a traveling OnlyFans, you know, what are they c or what are they called? Hosts? A host, yeah. A a

Exotic procurer of feet. That's pretty disgusting. And I mean, like sir. I think these sirens going to find me. Yeah, yeah. They're gonna come up here. Yeah, it's I mean the funny thing is I wonder if there's like legality behind that. It's not like you're showing anyone's face. Like how could you even be like, those are my feet? Be like, are they? I mean I don't know. Unless there was like a tattoo on it. Unless the person watching the

foot fetish video video was like that's my foot that's my foot you cannot have my likeness no no no no I mean okay hold on here's the deal I believe as Dave Portnoy would say I'm in public I can do whatever the fuck I want so technically if you are filming people's feet at the river it's public domain you're just

It's your fault for being out at the river with with your feet out. With disgusting feet feet on blast.

I mean, this is kind of a good idea. Like if I just took one afternoon, or we just took one afternoon. And that's the beauty the beauty about that Sony whatever Z V ten I have is it's so small. I think I think what we should do is test this theory. Whether it's whether it's feet or something else. I mean we okay, what we have to do is maybe we have to be the first models though.

Kevin Mooney (06:31.032)
True. We might have to be the first ones. I guess the thought is this is disgusting. We we go walk through the Deschutes River, you know, with all the d the geese shit everywhere, and you just get shots of your feet like squishy squishy through the through the duck farts and just being like So it's like ASMR plus feet. Right. I like here here's the the algae bloomed.

What else? What other topics could we make this foot only fans about? Is there another body part that everyone's obsessed with? Because maybe like elbows. Elbows? You're pa what are they called? Panas? Isn't this a pantas? I have no idea. I think it's called a pantas. I don't know, but I play with my pants.

I like to squeeze my panties. I like to flatten mine, you know, and kind of just pull it. Like roll it around in your fingers, you know? Yeah. It's kind of a weird thing. Well, it's it's funny because Savannah the other day, like oddly, literally, we were talking about this while driving. She's like, I'm not above the foot thing anymore. Yeah. Like, maybe we should just do that. And I was like, I think I should do it. She's like, There's probably people into hobbit feet like yours.

So she's got hobbit feet. I do. you do. I've got hobbit feet. She's like, I can make a Lord of the Rings themed. Like the hunt for Gollum is being shot right now and produced. There's gotta be a way to like grab the the coattails of that. I mean, like I think you have to. Harry Hobbit feet. Because I'm pretty done in in in like this industry. I'm done in this I don't this sounds fucking terrible, but I'm kinda done in this life.

Yeah. You know how you like you look around and you look at people and you're like, man, that person is just not for me. Yeah. I say that about almost everybody that I that I come across. Well, and like Damn. You just kinda like I don't want to explain things to anyone anymore. I don't want to argue about anything anymore, like anything. Yeah. Like why this matters or why this will help you.

Kevin Mooney (08:46.86)
Or why the bottom I don't want that. I just want you to want a thing. I want people to want a thing. Sure. And and just take it. Buy it for money. Well, yeah, that's that's where it gets a little bit tricky, but I think about it in politics all the time. Like the s the sides of the politics are so and I'm not gonna make this about politics, but I'm I'm just noticing like that's where that's where the entire thing

goes off the rails for me. I like to follow both I don't know, influencers on each side or something like that. Yeah. And there could be one topic. maybe we could sponsored by Wild. yeah. Yeah. Show it. Point it over there. Or Kurs. Or Kurs, baby. May brood from a Rocky Mountain stream. But the point is that you could talk about the same issue and both sides view it so differently.

Like you'll watch a debate and party A will be like, my gosh, they we crushed it. We dismantled their argument. Uh-huh. And then the other side will say almost the same exact thing. And then they'll put it in some form of a headline and put it out there. And like both parties on their sides are like, Yay, we're the best. The same thing happens though, like in public. And it happens in industry. And it happens, it happens everywhere. Everyone's in this like little silo bubble.

of their own thing. Mm-hmm. It's just a long way of saying for me. I don't know. I'm fucking tired of it all. I'm tired of all these. Tired is the best way to put it. So how I'm like tired of selling people on the fact that

Kevin Mooney (10:35.68)
Strategy matters for a business, which is crazy because there are board games like Risk that are probably classic board games that are just about strategy. Yeah. And the fact I'm like, what do you mean? Why doesn't strategy matter to people? I don't I don't know. But I'm ti I'm I think tired is just the best way to put it. I'm like I think I think the reason that people are tired of things like strategy is because they've been overused.

And everyone. And every oversold. And everybody uses it and does the same thing. And you know, it's just like we were talking before this, like nobody everybody wants something and they want it now and they want it quickly. And I would argue that most people don't necessarily care how you get there.

They just want the damn thing done. And so we all sell strategy. We all kind of push it. And you know, how many times have we gone into a client meeting and they're like, I've already done strategy. I don't need it again. And then you look at it and you're like, what? Like, this isn't a strategy. What in the fuck is this thing? Well, and it's I think it's been oversold too, because like, you know, a a certain coffee company recently, and I was telling Silas about this the other day.

That like I was like, dude, like I got to Coffee Company and they're like, Can you like take a look at this? Like, someone gave us this social media strategy and we can't like make heads or tails of it. We can't figure it out. and it was like 15 pages long, and I went over it and it was generally bullshit. Sure. Honestly, like two pages of it. I'm like, maybe you could use like and all it was saying was come up with a theme and have

Four themes that you talk about and you just revolve through them. And I'm like, okay, cool. And then they told me that they paid twenty thousand dollars for this thing. Twenty thousand dollars. And then the guy disappeared, like ghosted them when they were like, Well, how do we use this now? No execution, just twenty thousand bucks for 14 pages. And I'm like, his elevator pitch must have been the best thing you've ever heard. Cause I'm like, I

Kevin Mooney (12:51.38)
I could have sold this to you and I would have probably been like a couple grand. Sure. Max. It took me an hour. I just think it's these I think these people who are after something. They want something. They need something. And then since everyone's selling strategy, they're like, okay, that's what I gotta do. We need that, I guess. And you're a strategist. So 20 grand, okay, fine. And then you you get the thing and they're like

You know, all done here. Yeah. You have to go have somebody else execute it. And then they fill it with 20 pages of nonsense. It's like that brand book that you had sent over to me from X Company. And I looked at it and I was like, This is all there's nothing in here. Yeah. There's like forty five pages of absolutely nothing in here. Like here's some colors. Here's like a thing you could say and yeah.

It's just like all the pieces are there, but it doesn't make sense. And I will, you know, argue that strategy is good and useful, but it's only as useful as like the execution of it. And I think that's where people have a hard time making the leap from the strategy to the execution. And I don't know, I guess I guess where this is going is like

I'm kinda done with that. I just want to make feet porn for for OnlyFans and goose shits. It's in demand things. Yeah. You just want to do something that's in demand. And so you don't have to sell it. People are already sold on it. You know, every day that goes by, I tell myself to be less and less strategic and like more and more just do. Do. Just just get it done.

And so I'm thinking that we need to use our own feet, Hobbit or Not, and just try this. Dude, hobbit or not.com.

Kevin Mooney (14:49.014)
I mean, that's fucking great, actually. Great. That's really great. Show you the hunt for Gollum. Yeah. But here's the thing, is I just think I think it's time to just start doing as much as humanly possible and see what comes out of it. So are you down to start an OnlyFans with me right now? Yeah, let's do it. All right, cool. Take some I mean, you got flip-flops on. I'm like straight up locked into these shoes.

I guess when I say right now, I don't necessarily mean right in this moment. Yeah. Yeah.

But I've never even thought about going to OnlyFans and then entering my information. To be fair, I have thought about OnlyFans as a career. Yeah. Like one of the things was why don't why don't we just set up hidden cameras around the house? So when I'm doing yard work, we just have like a hidden camera, like dude in the backyard. Shirt off. Chopping wood. Chopping wood. Drinking a, you know, Micalob Ultra.

And just like see what happens, let her rip. Mm-hmm. So I have thought about that. And my wife is always like, You don't have the balls to do that. And I'm like, Yeah, I mean, so much of that is true, but I'm very much wondering if it's actually possible now. What if you just earned twelve hundred dollars a month?

That is stoked I would be a a quick twelve hundred bucks for like doing doing nothing? Just switching shit with your feet. Just you know the So I guess that's I guess that's my question then, in terms of

Kevin Mooney (16:32.842)
Of strategy for this thing. Is there strategy or no strategy? No. It's just do it. Shoot from the hip. Just and so like, is there even a theme involved or you just start so organically that people are like, Yeah, wow, this guy's feet content is incredible. It's like it's like watching feet in the nineties.

What if we did scrambled feet porn? Scrambled feet porn? I'm I'm almost a hundred percent positive that you can have Claude scramble your feet porn and put it up there. Yeah. All the like blue and green, white fixed colors, you know, where like the toenails glow just a little bit and like, is that it? that's a toenail.

man. Alright, so what's what do we call this thing? Is it Hobbit or not? I think Hobbit or not. At Hobbit or not. At Hobbit or not. Mm-hmm. All right. Well fuck, that's that's great.

How many videos do we need to to launch an OnlyFans?

I don't I don't even know. Couldn't you just do them real quick? Yeah, w well this is this is the dumb strategic brain going into to play. Is it like do you come out hard and fast with just like a lot? Yeah. You j I think you just spend a day shooting feet. You know, you find a couple toe rings and you can be like, dude, I got a spin off series, the toe rings of power. my god.

Kevin Mooney (18:22.12)
So the the way that you're pushing this is towards the ring thing. I dude, I mean like Lord of the Rings is big right now. So it's gotta be Rings of Power comes out in November season. It's mostly dirty feet then. It's mostly dirty feet. Like there's no pristine shining feet. Mm-hmm. No, this is like this is like hikers only type of thing. Hikers only. Hikers only, dude.

Only is it do we do we switch it around and get only hikers? Only hikers. Only hikers. Yeah. And okay, so now we're we're starting to d develop some themes here. Yeah. Can you just imagine like the nasty feat of hikers?

Just like a little bit of duct tape on the heel. And like you just like there's a little corner that's loose. You pull it off. Maybe, maybe my feet are good enough for this then. I think so. You can little cows going on. I don't know what it is. Yeah, that's that's pretty gross. Yeah. Cool. But you know someone's like into it. So we do only hikers and then

Well we'll do the Lord of the Ring one so that way we can at least dress the feet up. Yeah, yeah. They need like a a cloak or something. Yeah. Like a like a a sword. A little sword. In between the toes. Swords? In between the toes. Yeah. man. Okay, now my brain's going. So do we do we do we have do we r basically remake Game of Thrones for for toes? Game of Toes. Game of Toes.

And we have all of the different toes battle each other and ride dragons.

Kevin Mooney (20:17.294)
So okay, now we are really getting pretty strategic here. We are. And we're gonna take we're gonna make a TV series.

And there's gonna be seasons and episodes where the like your favorite foot comes back. Yeah. And your favorite foot dies. Yo, yeah. Right. Yeah. Because your favorite foot, man, you just don't want that thing to die. And then one episode, it's just gonna die off. Dude, it went off to battle. It went off to battle toe fungus. And it was not successful. Yeah.

We might have to run this through Claude, see if see if it likes it. Yeah. That's one thing I didn't do.

Kevin Mooney (21:05.526)
I didn't turn on greasy balls. Greasy balls. Hey, that could also be that could be one too, right? Yeah. Man, you know what's funny, and I really do. So when I met with Silas, and this is like slightly on the on topic and slightly not now it is, whatever.

Dude, that guy is one of the most like coffee snob orderers that I've ever met in my life. No. Like he was like asking, we went to Junction Roasters next to my office, and he's just like, so do you guys like like do you flash brew?

This, that, or the other thing, and the poor guy was like, I don't know. I don't know the words that you're saying to me. I don't know what that is. And then, like, you know, I were at a flat white and it was in eight ounces or twelve ounces. He's like, Aren't flat whites supposed to be six ounces? And I was like, I don't know. I don't know. I have no idea. But what I did, I was like, I would love to film.

like just Silas driving through random Dutch brothers and Black Rocks just like ordering stuff and like like it's like the Charlie Kirk of coffee debates where he's just like 'cause can you imagine? I mean like so I I am not like that, but I have this story where I was coming down from the mountain

with my nephew years ago and he was like, you know, he's like 16 or 14 or something. And of course he wanted to stop by Dutch Brothers. I was like, you want to stop and get anything? He's yeah, Dutch Brothers. you just want to see some like chick listening to techno with cleavage. Like, that's what you want. And I'm like, I guess I'll do this for you. Right. And so, you know, she like, you know, we go through and she climbs halfway in the car and asks us about our life. And he orders a like Red Bull, whatever, cherry Red Bull thing. Whatever they do at Dutch Brothers.

Kevin Mooney (23:00.938)
He got a Red Bull? A flavored Red Bull. They do that at Dutch Brothers. It's they'll do like cherry lime red ball shaken. No. Yeah. So he orders that. And I'm like, can I just get an eight-ounce Americano? And sh the the girl literally goes, What's Americano? W in that tone. What's Americano? Americano. Yeah. And I'm like, just espresso and some hot water. And she's like, right on. You know, like,

And like she does it, but tell my nephew, I'm like, I'm never doing that for you again. I'm never doing that with you again. But can you imagine Silas? No. Like just like pulling up and I'm just like in the, you know, passenger seat. I'm just like, just go, dude, just go. Ask questions. And she's like, how's your day? And he's like, So like, what's the origin of

Your beans. It's just like Portlandia meets meets coffee shop. Brooklyn coffee shop. But he's dead serious. Dead serious. He's like Because he was it literally explained to this guy at junction like what flash brewing means. Because like the guy's like, yeah, I can pour over like coffee over some ice. He's like, No, no, no. It's like the way that you brew it over the ice. And the guy's like, I don't think we can do that. You know, and Saiz was like, Don't

Give me a cortado. It's too it's it's too much. To be fair, I didn't even know what a flat white was up until a couple years ago. We got this fancy, fancy coffee machine. And it just has this list of of all the things you s you sc scroll the wheel. Does it have the flat white option? It's got flat white, cortado. All the stuff.

Whatever the things are, and I'm like, what's a flat white? My wife's like, that it's like a latte. Yeah. And like, It's like a latte for Australians. Why doesn't it just say latte? Anyways,

Kevin Mooney (25:02.904)
Coffee culture to me is the absolute fucking worst. It's insane. I can't stand it. I hate being in a coffee shop. I hate the people inside of a coffee shop. I know I sound really negative right now, but God, it's just It's whole thing. It's just a whole thing. It gives them purpose. Like whatever happened to just like a black cup of coffee and a cigarette in the morning. Yeah.

Like that's those were the days. Those were the days. Those were the days. I mean, I never really s smoked a lot of cig I smoked a lot of cigarettes, but like not in not in like casual everyday life. It was more like

Let's go have some drinks. Yeah. And party. Right. And then you huck you know, you hoark down like a pack of camel lights or something like that. But the point is, what happened to black coffee and a and a cigarette, I mean, what does that it gets you wide awake? Yeah.

Ready to go. It empties your bowels. You're you're completely ready for the day. But now we have to sit in there and put almond buttercream syrup with splash of lavender in there. And make sure it's extracted correctly. Right. Yeah. What is it? Flash frozen? Flash Flash Brood. I still haven't looked that up. I still want to look up what the hell that is. I don't have a fucking clue. I don't have a clue either.

I used to go to a coffee shop and I'd be like, Can I have a latte? And they're like, Yeah, what size? And I was like, the big one, of course. Yeah. And then my wife informed me that essentially That's just more milk. It's just more milk. And I'm like, Huh. Yeah.

Kevin Mooney (26:47.608)
Well that's fucking weird. Now I can't get that anymore. I don't want that. Now I want the smallest one. And to be fair, those were like seven dollars and fifty cents. Mm-hmm. And that's not because you're paying for the milk. Right. Yeah. And that's not even like what do they do at Starbucks? They do a grand guy ma macchiato. Yeah. Isn't that something? Isn't that the same thing? It's just a latte. It's just a latte. They just renamed it fancier. See, that's the fucked up thing about Starbucks, man. They took it and

They re yeah, because dude, when I was working at Strictly Organic, people come and they're like, I want a macchiato. So I'll give you some. So macchiato just means mark of foam. Macchiato is this tiny little fucking thing. Like in Italy, you order a macchiato, it's just a tiny little thing. Just espresso with a thing. Now, yeah, Starbucks made it a latte and they put caramel in it. So it's like I want a macchiato, and you're really just getting a caramel latte.

You're really wants. Just getting whipped cream, sugar finger, all that stuff. Yeah. I mean I did go on a stint when I was in college. I was also much fatter. where I would go

And I would stop off at Safeway on the west side and I would get a caramel macchiato, a big dog. Yeah. And then I don't know, some shitty pre made burrito from them. And I would take that up to the school. And then basically have diarrhea, you know, during class. But I did that for like three years. Yeah.

And I was like, I don't know, I guess this is just what like, you know, people do. Yeah. They just get they stop at Starbucks. They stop at Starbies, they get their venti thing with the stuff, and then they See, I can never remember what the things were. There's Vente and Grande and something else, right? There's three of them. Tall. Tall tall? Yeah.

Kevin Mooney (28:48.262)
Tall. Yeah. Which the b I mean, grande is just large, and you know what venti is? It's twenty. In Spanish. Right. It's twenty ounces. Twenty. Right. Vent vente. I don't know. There's a lot of like I don't know, funny T V

shows that have like mocked that whole thing. Your Paul Rudd did that to you at one point. He's like Venti. It's twenty. And like his girlfriend was like, Shut the fuck up. yeah, but that was what was that fucking movie? Role models. Role models. Role models. But I like I feel that same thing when I go in. Even when they say do you want small, medium, or large, I'm like what is what is what to you? Because now the medium is what large used to be.

I think I'm like, you don't just give me the size that I want. That it's supposed to come in. Now that's what I do with the machine is I just press the button and then I'm like, cool. But when the milk's gone, I'm like, fuck. Now I gotta just have like regular coffee. It'll do an Americano or a Mercano. A Mercana. But I don't know. I don't think I like that stuff. No. Like

What's wrong with just like a pot of coffee? Why does it have to go through the French press or the all the different or the espresso? I don't know. It's all too much for me. Yeah. Yeah, there was just there was a simpler time. Actually the the first time that we ever went over to the East Coast, we landed in Newark, New Jersey, right? And like especially my wife growing up here.

Very used to having like many different milk options, right? Like not just different options, but like this hemp milk was locally sourced and this one is fair trade, right? And you pick between those two. We land, you know, and she's like, let's get like a coffee. We walk, you know, there's a dunk and dummy's there. And I'm just like, this is gonna be such a crazy experience for her. And we walk up to it.

Kevin Mooney (30:52.938)
And she's just looking at the menu and she's like, What kind of alternative milks do you have? And the guy literally goes, Alternative milks? What do you mean? Like two percent? And I'm just like dying. I'm standing behind her and I'm like And she's like, Yeah, I guess two percent is alternative milks. Right. What are you guys What do you even mean? Man, I don't we went to New York and I had Duncan or I had a sip of my wife's Duncan.

She was like, Isn't it the best thing ever? And I was like, This is the worst, trashiest shit I've ever had in my entire life. I mean

I I suppose if you just like a bunch of sugar, but yeah. Sugar's not I'm not a big sugar fan. Yeah. Same. Not like doesn't look like I have a lot of sugar in my my diet, but I don't know, this like super sweet like that. I'm like, how could how do you drink a fucking gallon? It's a big gulp of this stuff. And just sugar and milk. Milk and sugar. Yeah. I don't know. America runs on Duncan though.

Yeah. That's true. I mean, congratulations to Duncan for crushing it. Yeah. Who is Dunkin Donuts is the full name. Right. Is there a Mr. Duncan? Or is the first name Duncan? Like I'm done. Maybe his last name is Donuts. That would be fucking weird. That would be Mr. Donuts. What if you found out that it was Mr. Dunkin' Donuts? Mr. Dunkin' Donuts. Dude, that is

He's like in his sister's name is Sprinkles. Sprinkles Donuts. Wow. It's too much. Too much. They This part's gonna have to get cut out. They adopted a black kid named him Chocolate Donuts. I think I'm leaving that one in. I'm gonna leave it in, dude.

Kevin Mooney (32:52.61)
Whatever timestamp we're at right now, thirty-two thirty-two fifty. That's it. We're gonna make sure we're gonna highlight that. We're gonna clip that. Yeah, that's and make that it's just a revolving GIF or gif or whatever. Yeah. I gotta figure out I gotta figure out how to I don't know, do production on this thing. Yeah. Like I need to figure out how to How it's gonna No, I need to figure out like

like intro stuff. Like I I went on to invado and just found some like weird funky song and I just clipped like six seconds from it. And it's like wop wop womp. And I was like, cool. That's that's a good that's that's a good intro. Perfect.

It actually should be that. I mean it it literally is right now. And I'm like, is that perfectly stupid or is does it need to be better? That's perfect. You know, if you talk to special K or something like that, you know, it's like do something different, you know, film something, show your dog. No. You know. No. I mean I c I could, but it seems kind of more funny to to do that.

I think it needs to be like an old obscure like rap song. I thought about that, but I can't the stuff that I don't know is like licensing and music and like I just go to the I guess they're not free, you have to pay for a subscription, but like almost free. Yeah, so you know, technically this will go on YouTube. And so you could

get almost anything on YouTube, but then you can't do that. You probably can't do that on Spotify. So like that means you have to export all these different videos with all these different songs that you have. I don't know. I mean I'm I'm pretty partial with the bim bam bam bam bam. Yeah. So fucking weird dude. Just make your own jingle.

Kevin Mooney (35:11.378)
I thought I literally did think about that one. I was like, this that could be a a fucking thing. You know who was really good at at jingles? Rob Deerdek. Yes. He was so good at jingles. I mean they're fucking horrible, but yeah. Also jingles are horrible. But he always did that stuff.

Kevin Mooney (35:32.938)
I'm thinking about the remember Daddy's home with Will Farrell. Yes. One two point seven the pioneer Yeah, I mean yeah, I think I gotta figure out how to I think I gotta figure out how to make a jingle.

And 'cause I have a like right if it's gonna be the full moony podcast.

It should be me making the jingle then, right? It should be you making the jingle. And it should just be like t I don't know, just terrible. Like it's time for the full moon a wow. Right? Maybe we can just clip it and just use that. Yeah, that's that's great. Yeah. It's time for the full moon air. Cut. Perfect. Love it.

Smooth Steve here rocking you through the midnight hours.

End cut. Yeah. Yeah. I mean you should just do it for me. I think I might. I think I should. Yeah. I I the the podcasts that I have been doing, I'm not gonna say they suck, but they have not been what I've been trying to do. And I I think if you look at some of the data

Kevin Mooney (36:55.488)
and like the watch times on on that stuff. The ones that are more conversational like this do better. it just flows naturally. It flows more naturally and I feel like I feel like the design, the brand, the creative, the webs thing is a giant fucking trap.

You know, 'cause is everybody's sitting there looking for what's the takeaway? Like I had somebody who was like, Hey, I've been listening to all of your podcasts. Can I give you some feedback? And I was like, sure. What do you got? Yeah. And I like this person and they're a trusted person, but they were like, Just get to the good stuff sooner. And I was like, Well, that isn't how my brain works, and that's not like

I don't know how to I don't know how to do that. And also that's highly subjective. Well, sure. What's the good stuff? Right, because I thought the Lord of the Rings Foot Fetish OnlyFans account was the good stuff, and we definitely led with that. Yeah. But I can guarantee you somebody else is gonna do Somebody else can be like, what? Fuck these guys. Yeah. They're out of their fucking minds. Yeah. Dude, I hate feedback. I do too. The older I get, I hate feedback.

feedback. Yeah, I'm definitely moving more towards I'm just gonna do what I want to do. And that is that is more of this. Yeah. And like I want to just bring people on and bullshit and like rant and rave about something. It makes more sense. It feels better. Yeah. Then like because even like when I was doing some of the podcast stuff, it was like So what's your artistic process? Sure. You know, and what's the biggest challenge that you've you've run into with clients?

And it's like it's like I've had clients for twenty years. I already know what the fucking challenges are. I'm just waiting to see what this person has to say. And then whatever they have to say, I'm like, either yeah, that's a valid thing, or I'm like, well, you're doing it fucking wrong. What it's like one of the two, right? Or like and and what is all someone could listen to that for is be like, yeah. Same. You know what I've been running into in this this networking.

Kevin Mooney (39:09.078)
thing that I'm trying where I network with people.

I think naturally I s I slip into this like, I'm gonna just bitch. You know, 'cause I'm like, this person's in my industry, so I can just bitch with them. Yeah. And I'm finding out that they all wanna be my therapist.

And then even sometimes they're like, Well, you should go to therapy. I'm like, okay, well, that's not where this concept was supposed to be fucking going. Like we're supposed to be talking, we're networking, we're getting to know each other from like what makes you tick, how do you think? you know, it's not like are you good at what you do? It's just that. Yeah. And then on the flip side of this whole thing where they're like, you need a therapist.

Then they just join in at a bitching level that I find us sitting there just bitching to each other. Which maybe if we were homies, we could just sit and bitch with each other. But like in that situation where you're networking, you can't just be bitching to each other. Yeah. Like something has to come out of it and turn into some sort of like action item or result or something. and maybe they're selling something cute.

maybe they're selling something to you too. Yeah. Like, you know, they're like, do I need to maybe that's what he's here for is like wanting a solution from me. And you're like I don't. Yeah, I don't I don't know. I I do know that in a lot of these conversations that I've had, I

Kevin Mooney (40:56.384)
I end up walking away going, I don't like that person. Yeah. Dude. I go. I go, that person is just not my person. The ability to kind of like off the cuff.

you know, have a little bit of a bitch and then move on to something else is like my comfort zone. Yeah. Just to be like, that fucking sucks. Like I don't need to dwell on what and cry. Yeah. Like offload. Like it just needs to come out of my mouth. And and so I don't know. I'm just finding these these people that it and this goes all the way back to that like political thing I was talking about.

I'm just like so done with it, man. I it's so hard. I have like a core group of people that I can talk to that it works. And then the rest, I'm like, man. Like not it there's nobody new that can get inserted into that thing. Yeah. No, I think it's an age thing too, where I'm like, I kinda know who I know. Yeah. And I like who I like. Yeah. And unless something like really cool comes up. Honestly, you know what?

This this happened the other day when I was talking to the palette guy, Jason from Palette. and he was just like, I think I'm gonna do a monthly potluck here at Palette. And my only rule is bring something to share and invite one person. And I was like, That's actually cool. You know, this doesn't give me any work, it doesn't do anything work wise for me, but like you're doing a thing. You wanna have a monthly potluck at your thing.

Is that cool though? I thought it was cool. I was like, dude, I'll come. I'll bring some chicken wings and I don't know. Check out what this is about. Yeah. And it's like, at least you're like. You know, it wasn't like that he wanted to like make a make a new idea or had a new idea. Or like, what if we like. I guess what I what why that was cool to me is I've had so many people these days be like.

Kevin Mooney (42:57.496)
Dude, I'm coming up with the coolest thing ever with AI. Sure. And like let it's a brilliant idea. Let's start a business together about this AI thing. You can do marketing, whatever that means, you know, to them. Yeah. And I'm like, I'm sorry, but your your AI idea isn't new. You're not gonna make any money with it. You know what I I do. So I don't know. I guess maybe what I'm trying to I don't know what I'm trying to say, but like

Someone being like, I'm gonna have a potluck once a month. I was like, finally someone is not telling me that they have created an AI thing that, you know, copies everything that what's that fucking guy?

Alex Hermose does. Right. I don't care what Alex Hermosy does. He he's the one guy that just tal like he talks. Yeah. And so everyone else was like, maybe I should just talk about stuff too. I see what you're saying. Yeah. part of me part of me goes, Why is a coffee shop doing a potluck? Mm-hmm. Like to me, that's the part that kind of gets weird. But again, this is that stupid like strategic brain. Because somebody else

Would be like throw all the events that you could possibly do. It doesn't matter what it is. It just means that they're meeting and they're at your joint. So next time they think about you, they're gonna have your coffee. I mean, the only reason why I don't go there is like I don't need to go sit under a maple tree on a picnic bench outside near the old mill. I that's yeah.

Yeah. But that's because I drink coffee out of it's not even necessity. It's just like, well, actually right now it is, because if you don't if you stop drinking coffee, you'll get fucking headaches for like a week. Mm-hmm. So the point is that I just like get it on the go. But I know that there's many people that do like to go sit and break out their laptop and pretend that they're doing work or, you know, for their SaaS company or whatever the fuck that they do.

Kevin Mooney (45:09.25)
But yeah, it's interesting. the event idea holding it, doing it, bringing people together. That I understand, that I get. It was just that first part of my brain that was like, why the fuck? I would I don't want to go to a potluck at a coffee shop. Like, what's going on? But to be fair, like it's a defensible move, right? Bring people in, let them eat. Yeah. See who you meet. See what happens.

And that's you know what? It's like I don't know, maybe it's a phase of life I'm in. Like I went to an open mic night at Crow's Feet Commons with my neighbor the other day. Whoa. I didn't play. He played, but it was a blast. It was a great time. That's like it was just a bunch of people playing music. And you know what? Maybe what it is is that I work in social media and I I now

I'm like, what if I just physically like the song that you just played? And I'm like, it was just the idea of in real life things that I'm like so excited about. That stuff is so real, and it's such a part of culture that's missing. And I do enjoy it whenever I go out. Like last week we did something every single night of the week. We went to

Two or three baseball games. And like just getting everything together and all the kids and all the shit that you gotta take and I gotta bring a water bowl for Louie because it's hot out and all this stuff. I'm like, ugh, I gotta go do all this stuff. And then I got there and I was like, This is the best time of my fucking life. But that's because I like baseball and I think it's just that.

All American fun thing. Yeah. But the point is that on one of the days off from baseball, we went to munchin' music. And I don't know, I've been to so many munchin' musics that I I'm most of the time like, ugh, this fucking thing again. You're gonna hear some no-name band. Money on a snow cone. Spending like 14 bucks on a single poor margarita or

Kevin Mooney (47:20.658)
Nine dollars for a beer or whatever the hell you spend, and it's just like this whole thing, we're like, this is a fucking joke. But we went on Thursday and Larry and his flasplate, and I thought it was the best time that I have had in a very long time. So I'm still caught in this like old crusty dude, like who spent his entire 10 years of his twenties.

Just like partying and outdoing things and every munch in music and every show that comes to town and then leaving town, going to Portland to see shows and doing all of that. And then 30 becoming like a recluse and just like, I don't want to do any of this anymore. Yeah. So I'm like figuring that out in my 40s, like where do you want to live? And I don't know, I guess just tying that back into the the the potluck at palette, like

I don't know. Maybe if you went, maybe I'd go. But like dude, I don't know. We're going. Well, that's it. We're going to the potluck. I don't know. He hasn't even texted me yet. I'm gonna text him when's the potluck? Yeah. I think we should go to this potluck. I mean, maybe I should. I don't know. Just to see what happens. You know? Like I told him I was like, dude, like, you know, people are doing these like daytime raves at coffee shops. I was like, you need to do a daytime rave at Pallet.

He's like, that's actually a good idea. Like, yeah, dude. 10 a.m. Show up and just don't, you know, just yeah. I'll go jump around and party in the middle of the day. You're pretty good at that, by the way. The DJ sounds. See, I I can't go jump around. I can't, I can't get into the rave thing. I can't.

You know what's funny is I could see you not getting into it. Yeah and now it's making me want to make you do it. Get there and jump around. I think I think I need a a a healthy dose of mushrooms in order to do that.

Kevin Mooney (49:20.588)
Because for whatever reason, you know, I mean not whatever reason, we all know psychedelics do these things, but it just all that like Yeah, all that ego goes away. And it's just like, yeah, feel that music. Feel it. And but that's the thing I worry about. The thing you just did, sitting in the corner going, hmm

People are like, what is fucking wrong with that guy being that guy? But it's a potluck now, so you even have you have like beans on your face for some reason. Right. Well see, if it's a rave potluck, then I gotta dress up in a costume, eat my mushrooms, and then go snack on some you know, charcuterie board stuff. It's a rotluck. It's a rotluck. There we go. See, and then I get to stand in the back and go

And people are just like, it's a rave, it's all good. I'm literally picturing you just like just like being super weird in the back corner. I took I took our I took my son to like the center of the group at Less Than Jake. And I don't know, I don't know, I don't know any of their songs, but I like I know all of their songs. I just remember hearing it from from the the early days.

And I was like, guys, you gotta come in here and you gotta check this thing out. Like you're gonna have a fun a whole bunch of fun. You know, the stand-up bass guy. He's just throwing the throwing the bass around and doing all that fun stuff. And so I took him in there and I was like

Kevin Mooney (50:57.1)
J just like barely bopping around like I'm stiff, like just like a forty something year old body, just like, yeah, I yeah, I can do this still. I re I remember how. And he was like, after half of the song, he was like, I think I'm I'm good. I was like, Cool, so am I, man. Yeah, but I'm glad I'm glad you gotta experience that. Yeah. Circle pit. It's yeah, they didn't they didn't have any circle pit stuff. I would have felt more comfortable in a circle pit.

close to death. Because you just at least gotta like throw some elbows and run around in circles, and you you know you look like a doofus. But like I feel like everyone's watching me. I get in the center of those things, and I'm like you're like you know, I start moves. I start like you only have like a full a couple of moves, you know, you're doing the sprinkler or something like that. You're like, man, I look like a dork. And I do look around.

And there's always someone looking at me. yeah. What is that guy doing? And you always wonder why. Right. You always wonder why. Like we're all supposed to be looking stupid here. Yeah. But you're looking at me. Yeah. Why aren't you looking at the band? So that's the problem with the mushrooms is I'm gonna be in there being like, everyone is looking at me. And maybe they are, maybe they're not. But Mushrooms in public. Also a great band name. But yeah.

That should be maybe that's podcast stuff. Mushrooms in public. Podcast number two, Mushrooms in Public, where we just eat mushrooms and say weird shit. Yeah. You wanna make it happen? And we could. Yeah. I mean, we I got all kinds of mushrooms. I got them all. Like I got lion's mane, I got turkey tail. You can just get them at Whole Foods. There's in cartons there. They're not even that expensive. It's nuts.

yeah, I don't know. I think I think more stuff like that though is is more fun than interviewing somebody on a podcast. Yeah. I don't know if anyone's ever gonna listen, but I'm making an effort now with the daylight studio to make it happen. Like bring some people in here, have some drinks, just bullshit. Just see what happens. See what happens. Just see what happens.

Kevin Mooney (53:20.876)
I don't know. I tried the the content game play and I was not into it and it wasn't working. Yeah. I mean, to be fair, there were things that were working. You'd put something out and it would get more on the retention graph or you know, you'd get more people to follow you or whatever the metrics were. But I it was soul sucking. Yeah. The fact that you have to like do it so much and it

Maybe this this is my old grumpy man thing, but now every time that I see like a talking head on Instagram or something, I'm like, You have all the time to do this shit. You must not have any clients. Yeah. Like you have all how how come you have all the time to do this? It means that you don't you aren't working with anybody. Well, everything on the internet is fake. Yep. It's all fake and stay all bullshit. Fake. Yep. Yep. It's it's quite

It my god, that horn outside. I don't know if it's on the recording here. Probably will be. See if Riverside can magic audio that thing out. Yeah. everything's fake and everything's bullshit. And anybody can get a camera or their phone out and a a light and they can put it on them and they can just say things.

And they can get people to buy shit from them. It's a real fucking thing. Yeah. Like you can just set up a fake podcast where the camera is looking at you and it's off to the side and you're acting like you're talking to somebody and you're giving out expert ad advice and everyone looks at it like, he was on a podcast. He must be a real fucking thing, you know? It's like anybody can do it. It it's so wild to me.

And I fall into these traps where I follow that content. I watch it. And me too. And I'm like, maybe they know something that I don't know. And so I'll even like comment, you know, the the the mini chat thing where they're like, just comment social and I'll send you the free playbook. Yeah. And you I I have emails and messages of these free playbooks, and I look at them, like sometimes there's an all right thing in there. The rest, I'm like,

Kevin Mooney (55:42.892)
God, this is a this is terrible. And like how many people just end up buying the entire package for $299 or whatever? Yeah. It's like somebody somebody on the internet was like, here's how to make a zillion dollars in two seconds. Just go over to Google, find somebody who doesn't have a website, copy their Google My Business page, throw it into Claude.

Let Claude use Higgsfield or Seed Seed Dance or something like that and it's gonna make you a website. I don't this fucking this car s are they driving away now? I know, I'm like do you

Unbelievable. Anyways, the idea is that you just copy everything from the profile, you let AI build the website and you sell it to them for 500 bucks. And part of me is like, I should do this. Yeah. Because like 500 bucks, you can't really go wrong from like the client perspective. yeah. And be like AI snake in it, then okay. Mm-hmm. But I I also think like, what about all the other bullshit?

Like who hosts the website? How are you gonna hook that up? How you gonna connect the emails? How you gonna put all the records together? That could take hours in itself to do. And sure, someone's out there on the internet's gonna say, Well, you just have Claude do it. You just have AI do it. And you're like, Yeah, okay, okay, okay. Well, how do you know? My god, you wake up. How do you know?

that like it's even the right thing. Like that's the thing I'd run into too. Is like, okay, you build their website, but Well, you don't that's the thing about it though, is like

Kevin Mooney (57:37.922)
People put up these Google My Business profiles and they don't even have a website. And so you're like, well, five hundred bucks for the website, whether it's good or bad, or it doesn't matter. They're just happy that they have a website. So and you got your five hundred bucks. It's like, well, okay, maybe that maybe that's a thing. So I don't know. Maybe I'll try that alongside the OnlyFans foot fetish thing. But can you automate it? Is even better. Sure. Like, can you yeah, AI will build the thing.

Can you AI a module that finds these people and reaches out to them for you? I think you can and then builds it for you. I think you can them. Like I think you that would be the kicker. Right. Cause then it's just you don't you're literally not doing yeah. Anything. I mean, it's I talked to somebody recently who's who's been in marketing for like 15 years or something like that. And

He was like, Man, when I left the industry a couple of years ago, I was in the same spot that you're in. Just burnout and tired and annoyed, and you hate clients and you hate this and you hate that. And I was like, first of all, that's not all entirely true. Yeah. Yeah. It's more about how the industry is pushing shit on people. Mm-hmm. And people believe in that shit, and then they buy that shit. And it doesn't do anything for them. Right. So, like, that's the whole thing that I'm frustrated with. Because

Now you've got real clients who still believe the shit because there's so much shit out there in the world. Every time I open up Instagram, I'm like, this is all shit. Mm-hmm. Point is that if you can't beat them, join them.

And maybe that whole like trying so hard and trying to be right and whatever is the right way to do it. But I guess the other thought on that that note was like the way he put it, which was a little bit interesting, was maybe there's opportunities that you're not paying attention to. Like how do you help some of these people do strategic things?

Kevin Mooney (59:45.794)
That you don't really want to do, but you drop your ego and just say, like, yeah, I'll do it 'cause it helps your business. For instance, like ADA compliance on websites. It's a big, it's a big deal. Yeah. I personally kind of don't believe in it. It's like there's some I have some fucked up thoughts about it, that's for sure. But one of those more positive thoughts is like you don't need it until you hit a certain size. Yeah.

Like my website does not need to be ADA compliant. Like for the for the forty-seven people that come there a month, I don't I don't need ADA anything. Right. But if you're hitting thousands or or millions of views or something like that, then like yeah. In fact, now you're on the radar of whatever governing authority it is, and and so maybe that's that's a fucking thing. And then my asshole response is what I don't want to.

Fucking make websites ADA compliant, put stupid cookie banners on your thing and do you accept mar marketing? Yeah. I don't want to do any of that stuff. But if I could automate it, pretty all right. Mm-hmm. But again, then look at the next like tier, the next the the next like crux of everything.

The companies that do need it are at fifty million dollars a year, probably in top line revenue. So a fifty million dollar a year company is somebody that I want to work for. But then I don't really want to be doing the ADA compliance for them, right? Yep. So it's like, yeah, can I help these small guys out and do ADA stuff? Sure. But I don't really want to. But then you just have to convince them that they need it too. Cause it's like Right.

You're not ADA compliant. Right. I noticed on your butt. Dude, I get all those cold emails, and you probably do too, that are just so stupid. Like, I could do this, I could do that, the other thing. And you're like, does this work for you? Does anybody call you back? Yeah. God, it has to. I mean, I still get emails from clients who get these cold emails and they go, Hey, hey, is this anything, Kev?

Kevin Mooney (01:02:02.932)
I'm like, they're just trying to sell you this. I mean, people even buy from Google, right? Because Google will be like, we're gonna put an account executive on your account. You're gonna be talking to the person who, you know, they really know the platform inside and out. They're gonna they're gonna get you the sales. They're just doing it because they probably get a commission on that thing. Yeah. And they're gonna pump these ads up and use all the AI features and blah blah blahs.

Just so that you spend more money so that they get a cut of that money. And it's like, I tell I have a client in Redmond who the Google guy sold them some pipe dream. I'm gonna get you twelve hundred leads a month. And I don't know if you got twelve hundred leads or not.

But I can tell you that he was like, I'm not getting any s anything of quality out of this. And then he just signed up with some fucking agency down in San Francisco or whatever wherever the hell they're from.

And now they're talking all this big talk and they need this and they he needs me to give them access to that and they want this. And it's I'm not saying that they don't need access, I'm saying this company is coming in. They're they got this big talk, they're gonna do all this stuff. Who the fuck in San Francisco knows anything about Ben Dorgan and how they're going to do anything? Yeah. How operate they think that's one size fits all.

Put all this stuff yeah. It blows it blows my mind. But that shit works and those companies make a lot of money. Make a lot of money I see it on Alex Hermosy all the time. They'll be like he'll do like a panel and he'll have somebody stand up with a stupid speaker box thing and be like, I own a a marketing agency. We do two million dollars a year. I'm trying to scale to five, you know. And his advice to them is just kinda like how do I say it? It's just

Kevin Mooney (01:04:03.83)
It's just tactical advice to those people. Mm-hmm. And the tactical advice works for those people because they just put that put that same tactic onto their clients. They use the same tactic on their clients. They just take what he said. And then it's shit. Yep. I am not saying Alex Hermosey is shit. I I You're like I like I'm not saying Alex Remosy is shit. Right. I might be. No, I'm I'm kidding. He I think he's great. His advice is great.

but it's so tactical. And that's that stuff that's in the world that I'm so fucking tired of is just all of the tactical advice that's out there because it differs for every single every single person. There's no one size fits all, there's no right way to do it. But

That contributes to now all of these these influencers who do the same thing. And I am seeing a lot of people step their game up in that personal brand and and whatever I don't know what the other word is. I'm just seeing people do some better work out there, but the tactical side of things is they're just tools. They're tools that you can use. Yeah. And you don't have to use all of them.

And you shouldn't use all of them. Yeah. It's kind of often. It's kind of a mess. It bothers me, but I sh I maybe need to like let go of I have to eat some mushrooms. Yeah. And let go of that stuff. Yeah. I think it's just too like, you know, you get to a certain age and you realize it's all kind of the same and the shine is gone because it's all the same. Yeah. And it's almost twice as irritating to see these like

you know, twenty-four-year-old marketers that have just discovered a basic foundation of marketing. Yeah. And they have all the confidence in the world to now record a video about it and talk about why. You know what I mean? Like I yeah, I don't know if I'm explaining that right, but like it's irritating to me. Yeah. You know, and I'm just like, like my response always.

Kevin Mooney (01:06:17.866)
I want to say like, yeah, like I remember my first time defining an audience. Sure. You're so what you're saying is you can you need to figure out who you're talking to on TikTok before you talk to them. Right. wow. But like because they're doing a TikTok dance in the background, they like eighty gajillion views on that. Well, that's the other thing about the content game is the the hook play and the

the retention metrics and all of that stuff. And I think about it, you know, making these these social series that we're we're working on now. I go, there's no hook designed into this thing. Is it is it ever going to work? I I think there are examples like Brooklyn Coffee Shop who have who have made that thing work, but I just

I'm starting to have less and less confidence about the things that I know to be true because there's so much of the other stuff out there. I'm watching these videos of these people talk about how you have your hook in the first couple of few seconds and then you have to do some

explain thing and then you have to like show the thing that you're explaining and then you have to have the secondary hook just to bring their attention back up to where it should be. And you have to do that every 15 seconds. And so all that does is make a script out of out of the content. And so you have to keep doing that over and over and over again. And in my mind like that's just fucking boring. Yeah. I I guess the argument for it is

If you made a series of videos and you push that out through brand awareness or traffic ad or something like that, and you just get a bunch of eyes on it, you're eventually gonna convince somebody to buy from you. And there's 350 million people in this country, and how many of those people do you need to actually buy from you in order to make some pretty decent money? Well, not very many if you think about it. Yeah.

Kevin Mooney (01:08:28.617)
So it's just this like short-term play. There's very few people that I think I see over the years that still run that playbook. That's the thing about it, is it just doesn't live for very long. Yeah, it's a spurt of energy that just doesn't go anywhere. I mean, it's like a one-hit wonder versus being the Rolling Stones. Right. You know, like dude, that drives me nuts. I remember

That actually reminds me. Like I remember when that song Old Town Road came out, or whatever, Old Town Road. Yeah, that's it. Dude, and everyone was just like, this thing is amazing. And like he figured out that like if the song itself is shorter, he'll get more streams.

Yeah, blah, blah. And I remember saying to so many people, I was like, dude, no one's gonna remember who the guy is. Like I don't have a clue. Three years from now. Yeah. Two years from now. And everyone was like, no, this is absolutely revolutionary. And was like, no. The song sucks. Yeah. It's a j it's catchy like a jingle. But like, no, it sucks. And then, you know, the funny thing is, like, yeah, it and everyone probably amped the poor dude up to think this and that. And then like

A year later his popularity went down. So it's like this is gonna be so controversial. But in my opinion. Like he came out as gay and I'm like, You're not gay. Sure. You're just trying to like that's your next hook. That's your try to get your spike. Try to get in the spotlight. It's like the Hoktua girl. Yeah. It's the same type of same thing. Just flash in the pan, gone. Yeah. And yet there are still bands or musicians out there that

They do the long term play 'cause they are actually musicians at the end of the day. That old Town Road guy is not a musician. He did he hit play on a you know, a beat that he found an Apple whatever. Yeah. And like said a thing and then it got kind of popular. So he got Billy Ray Cyrus to come and sing a thing on it. Thanks, Billy Ray. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no.

Kevin Mooney (01:10:38.271)
Yeah. You'll never be around. You'll never be around. Versus, and I think that just ties into there's still real artists out there. There's still people trying to make something real. It's just there's new tools to your point. Yeah. There's new tools. And all these marketing people, they get so excited like you need to do the tool. Yeah. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe you do. Maybe. You probably don't. So I think the hardest part about the AI tools right now for me.

Is that you could spend fourteen hundred dollars a month on every single platform just to try to figure out what's going on. What's going on or how to use it properly is fucking wild. And I'm about to like drop some money into some of the the video ones to see what what we can do with it. But God, the reality is you just and I don't want to sound like money is scarce, it's more like

How much time do I want to spend on this thing? And time is money, and then the money is the money, and it becomes like because I can get sucked into AI. I've been I have so many like skills that I'm in the middle of building on Claude right now that I'm like, well, this just sucks. This didn't get me there. And it's probably me not knowing how to prompt the damn thing correctly, but I don't know. I also can't stand.

This this just fucking happened. Sending sending somebody that I'm working with. Here is a piece that I have like beat Claude up or chat up about. And it's like damn near perfect. Yeah. When I say damn near perfect, it's it's presentable. And I hand it over to somebody, and then they just run that back through Claude.

And it they spit something out and they go. You're just ping-pong and you're just ping-pong and a fucking yeah, you're dinking and dunking a-cause then you enter into your cloud and you're well, what should we do with this? Right. It's like And I go, What in the fuck are we doing? Nobody's thinking about anything right now. Yeah. Like. And that that's if you do think, I don't know. Maybe we're on the precipice. Maybe we're just tired because we're tired. But maybe there's a precipice of like

Kevin Mooney (01:13:01.003)
Where thinking is gonna be a very valuable tool. Maybe. Do I want to hang on a lot long to find out? I don't know. I don't know. I think I just want to make Lord of the Rings foot fetish stuff. Game of Toes. Game of Toes, man. God, I can you imagine though, like the props that we would need to make for the Game of Toes series? That would be so much fucking fun. It'd be so much fun.

I've been thinking little toe condoms. Toe condoms. Mm-hmm. So are these just regular condoms cut down to size? No, I think they're little toe condoms. So we just call up China and we say, hey. We need to condoms. this now okay, now this this gets into something really good. It's a little bit strategic, but my point is though that we make the content.

That features the product that we're going to sell in it. Yes. Genius. Yes. Now all of a sudden all these toe fucking freaks are going to be buying toe condoms. Why? Because it's because the game of toes. The game of toes said like this is so we're trendsetters. Yeah. That's what you're telling me right now.

Right? Right in the middle of this conversation, you told me that we are trend setters. Yeah. You guys heard it first, right here. Right here, right now. Right here, right now. Mm-hmm. That's fucking incredible. I gotta I gotta piss. Do you gotta piss? No. Yeah. All right, we'll pause for a second, come back. Which means I'm gonna leave this thing running. Yeah.

Kinda wan Jimmy John's. Yeah. I know I I figure we go another like thirty minutes or so and then we call it a day.

Kevin Mooney (01:15:02.401)
Planet fitness.

Kevin Mooney (01:16:02.539)
Yeah. Maybe it should.

We said get it delivered here.

Jimmy Jones.

Kevin Mooney (01:16:17.843)
What's funny is I only have

DoorDash, but I'm like, dude, Jimmy Johns was the OG of the delivery.

Kevin Mooney (01:16:30.871)
ho ho.

Kevin Mooney (01:16:37.985)
It's definitely a delay in the Yeah. We'll see how it could also just be the work it out in post. We'll we'll see if

It could just be the delay on the video feed. It's like the thing that I don't know about.

Kevin Mooney (01:17:01.279)
And we're back after that short break. Short short fight by our sponsor, Wild C B D. And Curs. And Curs. Thanks, Curs. Thanks, Curz. I am going fishing after this. Really? Yeah. Dude, hell yeah. Where are you going fishing? We're gonna go up to the upper to shoots. Yeah. you fly fishing?

Fly fishing, yeah. I need to get a rig. I need to get a fly fishing rig again. Come come with me, I'll show ya. I got all kinds of gear. It's funny. Chris and I Chris has got a longer career in fishing. He was a He looks like it. He du he dresses like it.

Even if he doesn't think he dresses like it. yeah. He dresses like a fly fisherman. He's wearing Seager. yeah. He's got gingham western pearl snaps. He's got the Pearl Snaps. I know he fishes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we so he used to be a guide in Colorado. He's got an interesting checks out, dude. Yeah. He's quite an interesting story. Why does it check out so much? You know

Chris is very protective of like who he is and his life and he likes to be secretive and stuff. but like when you learn about it, it's it's like, yeah. Of course that makes perfect fucking sense, dude. But yeah, he he somehow ended up in in Colorado and started working for this fly shop. And I think he started

I think he started with guiding there. And then the owner was like, Hey, you know about like the internet and stuff, right? And he was like, Yeah, sure. Yeah, man. Like you just you plug a thing into your computer and it dials up. So the guy was like, Do you wanna figure out this like internet marketing stuff? And Chris was like, sure. So he started figuring out the internet marketing and then eventually left. But he I think he was a guide for

Kevin Mooney (01:19:17.407)
I don't know. I'm gonna just make something up. Seven years or something like that. So rowing, rowing drift boats, dealing with clients, giving them cigars and whatever they whatever they asked for. So get a bigger tip. And you know, kind of the the the guy that's that's where you like learned about a lot of his I don't know, I don't want to say just beliefs, but that early day of marketing was really

was like what's the word? It was just high touch. Yeah. Right? Like if they made it if they made it to you, then you wanted to give them the best the best time. You wanted to show them the best time. It wasn't just about putting them on fish. It was like what makes them comfortable.

Right. So he's like, this one guy, he he was going to the shop for years and years and years. And he always wanted a Pepsi every time he came out. So I'd just go buy a pallet of Pepsi, you know, and every every time he'd show up, I'd hand him a Pepsi and he'd hand me like four hundred dollars in tips, you know. but the point of the whole entire story is that

After his guiding days, he was very jaded on fishing and

While he was jaded, I was like on the come up of learning fly fishing. And I was just in it. I was watching videos. I was learning how to Brad Pitt. Just Brad Pitt in it. I was like, man, how do you shadow cast? You know, like what it you know, that's not a real fucking thing. But like h how do you do it, right? Which is weird that he handled the guy a Pepsi. Right. Because the phrase is Coca Cola. Right. Coca Cola. Coca Cola.

Kevin Mooney (01:21:08.863)
Is that is that what you learned about? That's what I learned when you're casting. Coca. Coca. I mean, that's I don't know where you learned that. I didn't learn that in my thing. Yeah. Dude, that that's the thing about going to high school in central Oregon is fly fishing was a class. Sure. That's crazy. Did not know that. Well, I didn't take that class down in California. No. but yeah, I was I was learning

How to do it and I was I was out like I was single. I was single. Yeah. So I was out your waiters on four times a week, man. Easily four times, if not like seven days a week, right? But yeah, I s I started with nothing in terms of like fancy gear. And within a couple of years. you get deep, fancy, fancy shit. I mean I just did you get into the like stomach pumping?

No, I dude, I got into that. I was like, all right, like I don't know what the hatch is. So I'm gonna like guess and I'm gonna catch my first couple and I'm gonna stomach pump to see what flies they're eating. And I'm gonna replicate that.

That's weird. And it worked. Yeah, of course. Sure. But I don't think the stomach of a of a fish. I was stomach pumping. I didn't go that I didn't go that deep. It w I mean I I guess I went deep on other things. It was more like the nuances of the gear. Because I would get out there, I had some hundred and forty dollar rod, and I was like, man, I just can't.

I can't reach it's not so whippy. I can't reach the spot where the fish are. You know, and so you listen to the fly shop, they're like, You gotta buy the eight hundred dollar rod. Yeah. And you're like It'll land you exactly where you need to go. So I get the eight hundred dollar rod and I was like, Yeah, this thing's rad.

Kevin Mooney (01:23:02.473)
And then I try to like you know cast a streamer all the way out there, which is just a little bit bigger than a a a dry fly or a heavy nymph or something like that. Then I go to the fly shop, they're like, You need the twelve hundred dollar rod. And I'm like, Really? So I buy like, yeah. So I buy I buy the twelve hundred dollar rod, and then I get out there and I'm like, I it's no different, it's not any better. And they're like

Well you need the twenty five hundred dollar rod. No, no, you need the fly line that gets the fly out there.

I'm like, all right. So I buy the hundred dollar fly line. I get it put on. And I'm like, man, every time I'm stripping this streamer back, it just sits on top of the water. Like, isn't it supposed to be down low? And they're like, That's because you have floating line. Do you need intermediate line? And I was like, All right, so I get intermediate line. And I was like, This is pretty all right, but it doesn't sink very fast. They're like, That's because you need sink line. And so I get sink.

Line and intermediate line and floating line and dry line and nymphy line and all these fucking lines and all these rods. And after a couple of years, I'm like, I'm burnt out. Yep. None of this, none of this stuff means anything. It's all just fucking jargon. Like the fish, yeah, they just eat. They eat shit. They eat all day long. Yeah. They just eat all day long. Dude, honestly, I remember pissing my dad off so much because he had been doing the same thing.

Like getting into it into the house I was in growing up, like we were walking distance from the Deschits in Tomalow. So we just like go down there. Yeah. And you were in bridges or whatever?

Kevin Mooney (01:24:47.893)
Yeah. Wait, tw is that what it's called? You go down in the canyon, there's a little bridge, and you can like walk up in there, people float and shit. Yep. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yep. And dude, it was like he was all into it. And I had just been like doing it in high school, like so much, and I literally like got a Costco thing.

And he was like, We're down there, and he's dude, I just thought getting anything. And I'm like, man, let me get down here. And I like get it. And I just snag three. And I'm like, Your gear doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. Same shit with like, so my my kid's cousin. He's nine. So he's two years older than my son. And he's got the like, I don't even know the name, but the fourth mountain bike and the dip, bit, dip, bit, bit. Yeah, yeah. And they were like building jumps at their house the other day.

And my kid, just because he likes Minecraft, he's got a Minecraft themed bike from Walmart. Yeah, but that was like $120, maybe. And he's just like his cousins getting so pissed. Like, so my son's nailing the jump and he's just like doing all this shit and he's like going. And his his cousins like can't do it. But he's got the really like the $600 whatever kid mountain bike.

I'm like, it doesn't matter. Whatever matters. It really doesn't matter. Unless you are like Sean White. Sure. And you're so dialed in that like the edge of your board on this icy day is gonna make a millisecond of a difference while you're trying to do a triple corpse hammer blow. Right. Hunger fist McTwist combo. I mean, that's my favorite combo, by the way. Yeah. Yeah. It's the best. Yeah.

Of course. No, it's the same it's the same thing in fly fishing. I got into like fly tying the flies and spent

Kevin Mooney (01:26:35.691)
thousands of dollars because you can't just buy like enough to fly tie yeah four flies. Yeah you you buy an you have to buy the spool and the the all of the the feathers and all that shit and you fly I can't I keep screwing this word up. You tie four hundred flies. And if you want another color you gotta spend another couple hundred bucks just to tie four hundred of the other color. Yeah and it's the same goddamn fly.

Anyways, when when we were both

So he he was in like done burnout phase. I was still like growing phase. And then I got pretty burnt out of just like doing the same stuff all the time. And we were both burnt out together. And then I started asking him about drift boats. Because I knew nothing about it. But I was like, maybe there's a whole nother game that I've never played before. He's like, dude, you don't even know. You've never even been on a boat fishing. I'm like, No.

Man, like no. my god, this whole universe is about to explode. Yeah. In my head. So he sends me this Craigslist listing of this wooden drift boat over in Eugene. And he's like, That's a sick boat. I was like, it is sick, but I don't I don't even know what I'm looking at, right?

And he was like, just buy it, man, just buy it. And I'm single, I got all this cash in on hands. All right. Yeah, all right. Sounds fucking good to me. So I go over to Eugene. Actually, Chris and I went over to Eugene and I I dropped five grand cash on this boat, and then it sat in the fucking driveway for like two years. Because I was still burnt out on the entire thing. It's a very long way of saying about a year ago.

Kevin Mooney (01:28:29.697)
Chris was like, I think I'm thinking about fishing again. And I was like, I've been thinking about fishing again. And so all of a sudden him and I have been just fishing a lot, just going out. And we took the we took the boat up to Montana last year and floated the rivers up there and fished and we didn't catch a lot of fish. It was like a weird, you know. 'Cause they don't they have all the rivers that are undammed and so it's like

How's the snow melt? Is there big snowpack? You're gonna have water all year. Low snowpack, it's gonna be fucking rocks by the end of the year. Anyways, we've been doing that. We've been going up to the upper dischutes this year. I've taken the boat out this year more times than I have in the last five fucking years. And it's been fucking great, dude. So great.

I bring two cigars. So I smoke two cigars on the trip. It's like start, just get in the boat and light that fucker up and start going right there. Dude, that's the key. It's so much fun. And it's been so good for my mental health to just like I'm not thinking of work. I'm not doing anything. I'm just floating down this river. and communing with nature. Communing with nature, man. Just being around it. The sounds of the water, the trickles.

Yeah. It's so nice. All of that sounds stupid. But the point is, I'm going fishing after this and I'm so excited. Hell yeah. Yeah. Dude, like I was looking last night at I mean, there's all these terms now, but I was looking at one hitters, you know, and just like the dugout and the whole thing, and I was like, dude, I could hook this to my dry bag on a float and just like mm-hmm.

I'm like, because that's all that that is all I care about anymore. Yeah. I used to care about like gear and this and that. Now I'm like, dude, just bliss me out on some fucking nature. Yeah. and maybe I'll get some dope Mexican food when I'm done. When you're done, for sure. Yeah, it's it's been a lot of it's been a lot of fun. It's so nice to just have that and

Kevin Mooney (01:30:37.973)
The spot that we've been going, you know, we can stretch the float out. It's probably like if you went straight down, you could be like two and a half, three hours. We've been like stretching it to six hours. Just like anchor up. Just taking it slow. Light another cigar. You know like, I don't know, the fish are there. The first day we went, we had I think Chris is exaggerating on this. He was like hundred fish day.

Easily a hundred fish. Yeah. I was like, we might have had twenty-five, you know, but I think Chris might be an exaggerator when it comes to fishing. I don't know. He's as he gets older, he's turning into the fisher storyteller. For sure. But we had a good fishing day. And then the last like three times that we've gone up, we still

Now we're probably really in the like ten to fifteen range. And he might say fifty, but you know, we're still having fifteen fish a day. Like that's killer. Dude, that's huge. We had like three in Montana. I was shocked.

Also, to be fair, that was the first time fishing from the boat, aside from Alaska, which in Alaska's weird. When you fish on the boat there, and maybe this is just the way that the guides have it set up. Yeah. But you just stand there with your like your rod hanging out the boat, and you're just hanging a bead underneath the indicator and you're just waiting for the the bottom to go down. Yeah. But like that's not really how you fish from a boat. Well

on other rivers. In Alaska, I guess it makes sense. Yeah. All the fish are just eating there. Shit on the bottom and they're just there. And so you just like hope you hope you hammer one. But anyways, fishing from the front of the boat is a different frickin' ball game. And the first day that we were in Montana, I was a fucking mess. We showed up, we left at four in the morning from Bend and we drove to Bozeman. And it's like a twelve hour drive.

Kevin Mooney (01:32:43.383)
And I don't know, we stopped once or twice or something like that. We got there probably like six or seven. We went straight to the bar and I was like double whiskey Cokes, like first day in like five years that I was away from my family. So I was all jacked up. I'm like five miles an hour. Hit it, yeah, hit it, hit it. I drank like four or five double whiskey Cokes. And then we went home.

And poured a glass of whiskey and had a cigar. I was a fucking disaster the next day. So I'm like half puking off the boat, half trying to fish. And Chris is like, you're missing all of the fish. He's like, right now, go. I'm sitting there going, like, what are you talking about? This there's nothing. I can just see Chris's just face too, just like.

So unimpressed. Yeah. So unimpressed. He was he, I mean, to be fair, Chris has taught me a lot about a lot of things and a lot about fishing, but I didn't know, like, I didn't even know where to cast. Because I'm thinking in my brain, I'm I'm standing on the the bank. And I'm like, I just you're just I just cast through like a spot 178 times and I'm like someone someone's gonna bite something. Yeah.

So we're we're going down and I'm like fishing in front of me and then I'm like, that looks good. And I turn around and I cast backwards and and then I like hook a tree. And he's like, What the fuck were you doing? Why did you do that? Like, why are you still looking good? He's like, We have 10 more miles of river, like just fish forward, dude. You know, all right, fine. You know. By the end of the trip, I'm like, okay, I get this. But like fishing off the boat was a way different experience. Yeah.

And when you fish around here, you go down to the lower to chutes, you can't fish from the boat. So it's a if you think about it, it's kind of a waste of fucking time. You drag your boat all the way out there, you drive down into the canyon, you launch your boat, you pay eighty bucks for someone to move your truck.

Kevin Mooney (01:34:52.491)
You have to float down and fight with all the other guides and then you have to get out of the boat just so that you can fish. It's like what a waste of fucking time. Yeah. Well so, anyways, up there, you there's nobody up there, and you just float and fish and smoke cigars. Yeah. It's fucking great. However, you are in Lapine. You're right down in Le Pine. So the shit that you see is really weird.

I mean, there was a snowmobile in July, just like stuck in the the ditch. This is like somebody was out there riding their snowmobile in the winter, you know, probably drunk, trying to shoot something, and then they crashed and then they were like, Fuck it. Yeah. Fuck it. And they just left it. Yeah. And in July, they still hadn't got it yet. You know, there's just shit like that up there.

So it's fucking weird. Yeah. It's weird, but it's it's a good time. So long story short, that is what I'm doing this afternoon. That's exciting. So pre funking with some coors. Thank you, cooers, as our unofficial sponsor. coors. You got a Mexican friend, someone spits in their ear. You ever heard that song? No. What? Yeah.

I don't know. I don't know like cool trendy things. I don't think this is cool trendy. it's Johnny Paycheck. Who's Johnny Paycheck? my god. Alright, I'll we'll we're gonna play this song once we're done doing this. I guess I just don't even know, man. See, that's I wonder let's just try it. Let's try it. I don't know. fuck me. See, that's why you don't try stuff.

Alright, let me clean this thing up. this is where you go try stuff. Curse, man. Curse, curse. Curse, baby. Shoot.

Kevin Mooney (01:37:11.127)
Slash the best. Slash the best.

This is what you get for like trying to do stuff. But I guess we're drinking beer, making Dude, I'm going to a concert tonight. Yeah?

Kevin Mooney (01:37:38.135)
Forty feet tall, bad nerves, somebody else.

Kevin Mooney (01:37:50.071)
What I was gonna do is see if I can play the video.

Kevin Mooney (01:38:03.959)
Kevin Mooney (01:38:08.819)
All right, let's see,

Kevin Mooney (01:38:14.999)
All right. What what is this guy's name? Johnny Johnny Paycheck.

Kevin Mooney (01:38:22.773)
Rocky Mountain is it Rocky Mountain Kool-Aid? Rocky Mountain Colorado Kool-Aid. Yes. Yes.

yeah. I don't know how to hook it up to the the headphones.

Kevin Mooney (01:38:46.197)
Houston Texas.

Kevin Mooney (01:38:55.167)
We was on

Kevin Mooney (01:39:03.819)
Well, it's a can of courage brewed from a mountain stream. Just set your head on fire and make your kidneys cream.

Yeah, we have an ourselves one.

Kevin Mooney (01:39:25.601)
You know, ever fear, John, if you've ever been in something bean drunk, it ain't got no friend. Sure enough, he wants to fight. This like reminds me of like reminds me of like Johnny Rebel or something like that. Like this guy is debatably super racist. yeah. You know? yeah. Yeah. That stuff is.

That stuff is fucking hilarious to me. That there's people like that that exist. Yeah. And talking to a bunch of Mexicans. man. Yeah, that's funny. Johnny Paycheck. Johnny Paycheck. Yeah. So what, you're doing you're doing a concert tonight. Volcanic Theater Pub. man, I haven't been there in a minute.

Our buddy our speaking of Johnny, our buddy Johnny Davis. Johnny Davis? Yeah. He's what, working it? Dude, he owns that thing. He bought it? Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Dang. I haven't seen Johnny Davis since the Toon Derby days. Yeah. I know. Dude, I haven't I saw him at Big O'Bagels randomly. I was like

Hey dude, what's up? Like two years ago, three years ago. Just at is it Big O'Bagel, the one on Galveston? That was called. Yeah. Yeah. shit, man. Yeah. I didn't know that he owned it. I didn't even know that was up for sale. Yeah. I mean he seems like the right guy to do that. To do that. Yeah. You know, he's in the scene. He dresses the part. He's playing country music now.

So he's playing music too. So he bought his own personal venue. Uh-huh. Good for him. Yeah. Yeah. Does was it he the one that owned the hot dog stand too? I don't even remember that. Cobra not Cobra not Cobra Dogs. Cobra Dogs. What is that hot dog place? it's at

Kevin Mooney (01:41:47.859)
Alley dogs. Maybe dude, that sounds like something that he would do. Doesn't have a website. Maybe we should sell it to him for five hundred bucks. I think we should. It's over there at the the Midtown Yacht Club. That makes sense that he would have I I thought he I thought he had that that space. I don't I don't know for sure though. I just remember

Michael telling us about his buddy that owns that. Because Michael wanted a logo like cool something cool, like like alley dogs. Right. Yeah. And with a Z. Right. And we didn't make anything like that. What we made him was way different. Yeah. I thought it I actually thought Toon Derby was a was a really cool idea.

And it was a really cool I mean the brand that we put together was really, really cool. Yeah. but yeah, it was not like alley dogs. No. No. Sorry, Michael. Sorry, Michael. Maybe maybe another time, maybe another day. Toon Derbies. Yeah. I don't think that one's I don't think that's around anymore. Yeah.

No.

Sorry, Michael. Sorry, Michael. You tried. Had high hopes. Look at that. A lovable sight. Dogs and fries. Dogs and fries. Where's wow. Bend or airport cafe, second floor. Best hot dog in the universe. Real AI here. Wow. That's fucking great. Awesome.

Kevin Mooney (01:43:34.623)
You know, I've always wanted to have an agency called called World Famous. Yeah. just because world famous is hilarious. And there is a world famous agency out there. But you know what's even better? Universe. Yeah. In the universe. Like in the most universe famous. Is that

Is that better? I think world famous. Yeah. Universe famous. Universal famous? No, not out of this, out of this galaxy. Yeah. Bender bust. Aliens. Good vibes. Good view. Good fashion. National hot dog day, July 15th. Well, we've already passed that, guys, so they definitely don't have a website that's maintained. No. Grass-fed beef, of course. Gluten. Gluten.

I gotta figure out how to I gotta figure out how to use, you know, like the picture in picture thing with your screen. Yeah. How you get that hooked up. That way you're like real famous. You pull up the screen and then you gotta show the things that you're talking about. Yeah. I wanna figure that out too 'cause it's you can you can try to figure it out, Ryan. But I'll try and figure it out. Yeah. Thank you. I appreciate that. Speaking of tattoos and hot dogs.

That's a thing? I don't know. I really like I liked this art. That was pretty funny. That'd be a funny tattoo. Squirt on this juicy wiener. Wow. Yeah, I mean shit, dude. That's pretty fucking solid. That's pretty funny. It's pretty funny. Chris and I were talking about getting tattoos in Montana. Ooh. I don't know what I'm gonna get.

This one particular guy, I think he's out of Denver that does just hilarious shit.

Kevin Mooney (01:45:30.167)
so one of the guys that I I love this dude's tattoos. He's so fucking good. His name is Kyler Marts. But somebody made a Kyler Fartz Instagram account. And they do yeah, that's great. Right? Yeah. So Kyler Fartz Instagram does like dick drawings and like

Animal like frogs farting and stuff like that. Yeah. It's pretty fucking great. Whoever made it is is really talented. So if if the Kyler farts is out there and they wanna do like like a super bag

Super bad like dick compilation drawing. I will get that tattooed on my body. I'm in for it. That's good. Yeah, I like it. Yeah, that's solid. I have six feet brown here. I'm thinking. That's fucking good stuff, dude. Well, well, we are at almost two hours. What do you think? Two hours. I think you go fishing, I'll get a sandwich.

Yeah. I enjoy what happened here today. I I do too. I think it was minus spilling the the fucking beer. Minus spilling the beer. But that was actually that was good too. Well, sorry, Coors. please keep the sponsorship going. Drink that. drink CBD by Wild. Yeah. With a Y. How do you h let me ask you a couple of questions before we get out of here? How do you feel about sitting in here and talking on a podcast?

with cameras pointed at you, the lights on, the headphones, the microphone. Does it feel weird? Feels great. Yeah. I feel good. This feels good. Doesn't it? This is a good thing. It's kind of a good thing. Yeah. I had so I had Chris in here just to like test it out, I don't know, yeah months ago. And he was like, This is fucking stupid. This feels so weird.

Kevin Mooney (01:47:30.411)
He's like, these headphones, this is kind of like a joke, right? And I was like, no. I mean you don't that's Chris. Well, sure. That is Chris. Right. And that's that unsolicited feedback that we were talking about. Yeah. So fuck you guys for your unsolicited feedback. But Chris, go make a new grass fed sandwich or something. Yeah, please. Come on. But I also had my wife in here and she was like, I don't get it.

And I was like, okay, cool. so I'm gonna take a break from podcasting, then I'll come back. But Yeah, but that's also wives. I mean, I ordered a tattoo gun and I kind of was like, I don't know, it feels like a fun hobby. And she was like, That's very on brand for you. Yeah. To be in the garage at nine thirty PM Tattoo tattooing a melting popsicle on your leg. Yeah.

I don't fucking care if they don't get it. Who cares? This is cool. That's what I'm talking about, right? Yeah. That's the energy. I'm enjoying this shit thoroughly. I think we need to regularly do this. I think we should regularly do it. I think We need to start you know, Game of Toes. Game of Toes. What was the other one? Hobbit or not? God yeah, was Hobbit or Not No Was it? Hobbit or not? I think we'll have to watch the review. Yeah, we'll have to watch it back. Yeah. But I think I think I think that

solidifies it like if you say it on a podcast it it has to be true true it's manifesting and it's it's gonna happen so maybe what we do is we go out and we film these toes doing game of thrones things we put it up on OnlyFans and we see what happens. Well and we show the results. That way we're fully transparent. True guys true that way everybody knows

We heard it first on episode one of the in-person daylight studio. Yeah. Dude, I want to bring some interesting people in here too. Do it. Let's do it. I actually have the opportunity to plug in another mic. I don't have a third camera, but I could use my phone.

Kevin Mooney (01:49:43.077)
Well, we could use your camera and probably get it hooked up to this. Yeah. yeah. So then we could do a three-way. That'd be fucking hard. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. A three-way combo. I don't know how we'd film it and you know what it all looks like, but we could figure it out. We can figure it out. Figure it out. Bring some other people in. Let's do it. Yeah. Cool. All right. Let's get out of here. Ready, break. All right. Thanks, guys. We love you. Bye.
